At WrestleMania 33, Brock Lesnar defeated Goldberg to win the WWE Raw Universal title. With Lesnar's part-time schedule, though, fans and analysts have been wondering how often Lesnar would be appearing on WWE television as champion.
According to WrestleZone, Lesnar may not even defend the title at WWE Payback later this month.
Via WrestleZone:
"As noted, Brock Lesnar is not scheduled for the WWE Payback PPV taking place on April 30th at The SAP Center in San Jose, CA. Lesnar was originally included in promotional material for Payback, but he has since been removed from all WWE event listings leading up to the PPV. He is not currently scheduled for next week's Raw in Long Island, either."
This shouldn't come as a huge surprise, as Lesnar has been a world champion before since returning to WWE on a part-time basis where he also worked a limited schedule.
The PPV is still weeks away, but with Goldberg appearing to move on for the time being along with Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman being positioned to face each other at Payback, it certainly looks as though Lesnar won't be defending his title on the show.
