Conor McGregor and Dana White have traded words through the media regarding the featherweight champion's stance when it comes to his scheduled welterweight bout against Nate Diaz.

According to TMZ, the UFC has pulled back its $10 million paycheck associated with McGregor's UFC 200 appearance, and the champ will fight again — he just won't have an opportunity to avenge his loss to Diaz, rather he'll defend his title against Frankie Edgar or Jose Aldo.

According to the report, the UFC offered to fly McGregor to every promotional destination, along with his gym equipment, but the champ refused to back down and was pulled from the card when he refused to do promotional work.

It seems McGregor may have overplayed his hand, and this one appears to be playing out like a pro wrestling storyline would.
