Balor has been out since August after suffering a major shoulder injury at SummerSlam during a match with Seth Rollins.

Balor dislocated his shoulder upon impact into the barricade, with reports indicating that Balor popped his shoulder back in to finish the match. Balor had to relinquish the WWE Univerisal title the next day on an episode of Monday Night Raw, and he hasn't been seen on television since.
SlamBuzz's take
Balor was set to be a major star on the RAW brand prior to his injury, and WWE should continue to wisely push the former NXT champion. Balor being ready before WrestleMania is great, and he should be put in a major spot in order to make his return worth it.
The planned card for WrestleMania 33 is stacked right now. If WWE can't find a good spot for Balor, it might be wise just to hold him back until after Mania. While that would be disappointing to see him out for another five weeks, it might be the correct move.
