The next few months of UFC action could be historic. With Conor McGregor taking New York for UFC 205, Georges St. Pierre expected to fight for the first time since 2013 in Toronto at UFC 206, the next major hole is at UFC 207 on December 30.

It's been hinted at before, but the ever reliable Ariel Helwani dropped on a note on Ronda Rousey's status that points to her headlining the end-of-year show.
Rousey last fought in November of last year, when she was viciously knocked out by expert striker Holly Holm for her first UFC loss.
The bantamweight title would bounce around for a bit, as Holy lost to Miesha Tate, and Tate lost to Amanda Nunes.
Any thought of Holm getting a rematch immediately went out the window after suffering a second-consecutive loss, this time at the hands of Valentia Shevchenko (by decision).
If Rousey gets past Nunes, a rematch against Miesha Tate or a superfight against Cris Cyborg could be in play for 2017. Or the champ could walk away for good on top.
