Ronda Rousey (10-1) was devastated after being knocked out in November, losing her bantamweight championship and bouncing to Hollywood to focus on her film career.
Her return to the Octagon has taken its fair share of turns, from an expected fight in July at UFC 200, to November at MSG and now she's not even expected to be back until 2017.
For the current champ, Miesha Tate (18-5), rumors have reached her ears that Rousey is only returning for one fight, via MMA Junkie.
"Some people have been saying that she's said, 'I'll come back for one fight against Miesha Tate because I know that I can beat her, and then I'm retiring,'" Tate said on "The Exchange" on UFC Fight Pass. "That she doesn't want to fight Holly (Holm). I don't know if that's true or not, but I have heard that. If it is true, I find it disrespectful."
Rousey is guaranteed a title shot upon her return, but it would extremely disappointing to fight fans if the one-time champ left without the highly-anticipated Holm-Rousey rematch and a bout with the fierce Cyborg.
