Shocking reports emerged on Wednesday that former WWE champion Seth Rollins had suffered a knee injury during Monday Night RAW this week, and the immediate concern was that Rollins could miss out on his scheduled match with Triple H at WrestleMania 33 on April 2.

Per the latest reports, it looks like Rollins may just make it back in time for the match. Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the initial fear is that Rollins tore the MCL in his right knee, and that he will miss an estimated eight weeks with the injury. Those eight weeks would push right up to WrestleMania, but it would be very possible for a return if recovery goes well.
Rollins missing WrestleMania would obviously be a huge blow, as WWE has been trying to build to a match between him and Triple H for about two years now. Those plans took a detour when Rollins suffered an injury to the same knee in November of 2015, forcing him to miss WrestleMania 32 in Dallas.
With WWE, Rollins is a former two-time WWE champ, having originally won the title in a thriller of a main event at WrestleMania 31. Rollins held the championship for over six months before vacating the title thanks to the aforementioned knee injury.
