This guy's friends have to harbor similar thoughts after he gets knocked out in an MMA fight. There's nothing wrong with getting knocked on your butt. But there is something wrong with doing so after a punch that my 10-year-old brother could have taken.
Sure, he's a bit frail and hardly looks like a "fighter" but that's no excuse for getting planted. If you can't fight, don't step in the octagon/ring. More importantly, don't sanction a "fight" like this. It's clear the guy had no idea what he's doing, and if he insists on getting in the ring again, he could get very badly hurt —- or worse.
