In the undercard of UFC Fight Night: Travis Browne vs. Derrick Lewis, Thiago Santos and Jack Marshman exchanged some heavy blows over the first round and a half or so.
Marshman caught Santos with a flurry of punches in the first round, which Santos narrowly recovered from. In the second, it was a nasty spinning heel kick that caught Marshman right above his ear to send him crumbling down to the mat.
A few ground-and-pound punches on the mat later and Santos walked out the victor.
Santos moved to 14-5, snapping a two-loss streak. Marshman dropped to 21-6, ending his seven-fight win streak.
