UFC champ calls out Ronda Rousey: "Grow the f**k up"

That's some strong wording.

UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson didn't mince words when discussing Ronda Rousey in a recent interview.

Johnson was interviewed by Sports Illustrated writer Jon Wertheim, and he was asked about his winning streak and how he would respond if he lost. He brought up Rousey's recent losses to Holly Holm and Amanda Nunes and how Rousey acted after those losses.

"You look at Ronda Rousey," Johnson said. "You got your ass beat, grow the f*ck up. It happens. It's mixed martial arts. I don't want to be like that. If I lose, I'll be like, I lost."

Johnson continued and said losing is simply "part of the sport."

"Everybody f*cking loses," he said. "It's part of the sport. Grow up. Look, Ronda, you lost two f*cking fights in a row, and you made more f*cking money than the women's roster. You'll be fine, don't worry about it."

Johnson recently tied Anderson Silva's record of 10 consecutive title defense victories. If the time comes where Johnson loses again, he seems confident he'll handle it better than Rousey.

Rousey has been out of the public eye since her loss to Nunes at UFC 207, and it's unclear when she will make her return.
