First, it was bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes who noted she thought Rousey would return for New York. Now, it's UFC insider Ariel Helwani:
The bantamweight crown has changed hands twice since Rousey's knockout loss to Holly Holm in November.
Holm was choked out by Miesha Tate, who then was knocked out by Nunes at UFC 200. Holm suffered a decision loss at UFC Fight Night in Chicago, registering two consecutive defeats.
Tate is expected to have to fight her way back up the card, as Nunes has proclaimed her willingness to battle Rousey in New York. The MMA world can only hope Rousey's long-awaited return is sooner rather than later.
