Joey Styles was been released from WWE earlier in the week, per Pro Wrestling Sheet.
The reasons weren't listed, but rumors circulated that his release came after Styles took part in a Facebook Q&A back in July, which PWMania characterized as a shoot interview. In the interview, he reportedly discussed issues with fans getting behind Roman Reigns and his take on the current product.
Styles joined WWE as an announcer from 2005-08 before joining the company's website. He's more well known as the voice of ECW from 1993-2001).
