WWE fans just got some disappointing news ahead of WrestleMania 33

Looks like WWE fans are going to have wait a little bit longer here.

WrestleMania 33 is almost here, but one WWE star who recently returned to the squared circle last week won't be appearing on WWE television prior to big event in Orlando. The former Raw Universal Champion, Finn Balor, returned to the ring, along with Triple H, on Mar. 11 at a WWE house show, but Balor hasn't made his official on-screen debut as of yet.

"It now appears Finn Balor won't return to WWE television before WrestleMania 33, and that likely means he won't be working the show."

Balor's surprise return last week gave fans hope that we may see him on WWE television prior to WrestleMania 33, but that doesn't appear to be the case. Since he isn't expected to appear on-screen prior to WrestleMania 33, it makes sense that he won't find a way on an already loaded card in Orlando.

It has always seemed more likely that the WWE saves Balor's big return to television for the Monday Night Raw after WrestleMania, and that certainly looks like the plan as of right now.

Still, it would've been cool to see Balor find a way to sneak onto the WrestleMania 33 card in some capacity.
