Goldberg's return to WWE has looked eerily familiar to his debut run with WCW — utter domination.

Sunday night at WWE Fastlane, Goldberg continued his run at the top by defeated Kevin Owens to win the WWE Universal championship. K.O. was feeling real confident before the match too as he told everyone in Milwaukee for FastLane.

But he was doomed to fail as he found out real quick in the ring. Jericho came out of nowhere and distracted K.O. to help Goldberg get the win:

Goldberg's win at Fastlane all but guarantees a title defense against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida.
It also opens the door for the friend-turned-foe Chris Jericho to have a tilt against his fellow Canadian and former "best friend" Owens.
Goldberg returned for WWE Survivor Series back in November, for what was considered to be a one-match return at the time. After he decimated Lesnar, his lengthy return was set in motion.
Goldberg eliminated Lesnar at the Royal Rumble and accepted a match against the former WWE champion at 'Mania before challenging Owens for the main title in Sunday night's main event.
Goldberg's "173-0*" record still stands as the most impressive unbeaten streak in pro wrestling. He's held the World Heavyweight championship on three occasions, the United States title twice and the WCW tag team title once.
