WWE star reportedly sent home from Monday Night Raw

Not great news for this up-and-comer.

After dropping his United States championship on the pre show before WWE's Payback, Ryback was reportedly sent home ahead of Monday Night Raw.

From PWInsider:

"The word making the rounds, according to multiple sources, is that Ryback was sent home and will be, as of this writing, off TV indefinitely. One version of the story is that Ryback himself asked to be pulled from TV.

Ryback's contract with the company expires this summer and the two sides have been, according to several sources, at odds over negotiations for a new contract."

According to the Wrestling Observer, Ryback met with either Vince McMahon or Triple H prior to Monday's RAW show to discuss the terms of a new contract. Apparently the two parties are far apart on both money and on Ryback's position within the company, so much so that the solution of the meeting was to send Ryback home and to pull him from all television.

Despite his incremental bumps on the card and occasional main events, it doesn't appear Ryback is moving up to the top of the card just yet.

For now, it sounds like he'll be the pre-show stopper.
