Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns have been tearing each other apart since the beginning of the year, and it's finally come back to hurt the "Monster Among Men," literally.
This comes after the two tore the house down on last week's Monday Night RAW.
Their latest clash was a bit handicapped considering both wrestlers were ailed with arm injuries, but Strowman's proved to be worse as he not only lost to Reigns, but he also had to undergo surgery.
The injury was much worse than originally anticipated and the WWE released this official statement on it:
"Immediately after the assault on Strowman's injured shoulder and elbow by the former WWE Champion, The Monster Among Men left Raw in an ambulance and was able to get back to the United States for an evaluation this past Wednesday. Following the medical consultation, Strowman underwent surgery on Thursday in Birmingham, Ala. with Dr. Jeffrey Dugas. During the procedure, it was revealed, among his other injuries, that Strowman's elbow had been shattered, and he is expected to miss up to six months of action as a result."
Strowman was penciled in to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal championship in the months leading up to WWE's SummerSlam.
