So much for Goldberg's unbeaten streak against Brock Lesnar. It took no time at all for Lesnar to conquer Goldberg and earn his first ever WWE Universal championship, hitting 10 german suplexes before connecting on the F5 to win:
Goldberg returned for WWE Survivor Series back in November, for what was considered to be a one-match return at the time.
After he decimated Lesnar, his lengthy return was set in motion.
Goldberg eliminated Lesnar at the Royal Rumble and accepted a match against the former WWE champion at 'Mania before challenging Owens for the WWE Universal Championship at WWE Fastlane.
Goldberg would blitz through Owens, setting up the former WCW champion's third match with Lesnar in the main event at WrestleMania.
Goldberg previously beat Lesnar at WrestleMania 20 before the two stars parted ways with WWE.
