Man Arrested For Stripping Naked In Planet Fitness Women's Locker Room

A North Carolina man allegedly used "gender identity" to take off his clothes and shave his legs inside a Planet Fitness locker room and is now behind bars.

A similar incident happened last week in Alaska, with a man also stripping naked in front of a young girl in the women's locker room.

The North Carolina man, identified as Christopher Miller, age 38, was even sporting a beard. He allegedly asked a woman in the female locker room to rub lotion on and take a shower with him.

Miller reportedly said he identifies as a woman.

"Planet Fitness stood by the man using the female locker room," wrote Bobby Burack of Outkick. "... The man cited a Planet Fitness policy that allows members to use locker rooms, bathrooms, and showers based on their 'gender identity.'"

A female inside the North Carolina locker room called the police.

"It's a man but he says he identifies as a woman, and he won't leave the restroom. But he is just walking around showing us his — and he won't leave," the woman told the dispatcher.

"OK, so he is completely naked?" the dispatcher asked.

"He is completely naked," the caller said.

Eventually, the cops showed up and the man was arrested on a felony charge. Miller reportedly had not been identifying as a female before venturing inside the Planet Fitness locker room.

Planet Fitness released a statement on the incident to the New York Post.

"At Planet Fitness, the safety of our employees and members is our top priority, and we have zero tolerance for harassment of any kind in our clubs," said McCall Gosselin, chief corporate affairs officer at Planet Fitness. "We took immediate action to ensure the safety of club members, including notifying and working with law enforcement."

As for the Alaska incident, the Post reported the following:

"Patricia Silva, 67, who took the photo because she said she was alarmed seeing someone 'with a penis' grooming themselves next to a young girl, was later banned from the gym, with Planet Fitness claiming Silva violated the company's policy.

"In the wake of the scandal sparked by Silva's suspension, 28 Planet Fitness gyms in 11 states have been targeted with bogus bomb threats, leading to a string of evacuations."
