Bryson DeChambeau fan makes $100k shot over golfer's mansion

A big fan of Bryson DeChambeau has just made what was likely the highest-paying shot of his life. He made $100,000 with a hole-in-one at the professional golfer's mansion.

The LIV golfer spent a day giving $150,000 to random golfers through a variety of challenges. Many had to sink putts of increasing length. One fan had to beat DeChambeau in a one-hole matchup to win $20,000. Those who succeeded won money. Those who lost scored some ONE protein bars.

The biggest payday went to a fan named Jimmy, who had to match one of DeChambeau's feats. He had seven hours to make a 95-yard shot over the golfer's mansion and win $100,000. He completed the challenge in just under three minutes according to the timer on DeChambeau's YouTube video.

This shot took far less time than DeChambeau guessed. He said that Jimmy would deal with some nerves early and some back pain as the day progressed. He did not think the fan would nail the shot early in the morning.

"I'm going to guess 5 hours and 43 minutes," DeChambeau predicted in the video. "I think there's going to be some ups and downs in this challenge for him."

The first shot was on the right line, but it traveled 25 feet too far. The second shot was closer at only 20 feet beyond the hole. The third shot was also 20 feet too long, but the fourth shot was within reach of a payday. It was the correct distance but eight feet to the right.

The fifth shot was dead on. It landed in front of the hole and just rolled in to lock up $100,000. Jimmy and DeChambeau then embraced multiple times while celebrating the astounding feat.

DeChambeau knows how difficult this shot is. He spent 14 days trying to make the hole-in-one over his house, increasing the number of shots with each passing day. As he explained in multiple videos, it took 134 shots to make the hole-in-one.
