Tiger Woods' latest arrest is raising bigger questions than just what happened behind the wheel. Dr. Drew Pinsky says the issue may run deeper.

Speaking on TMZ Live, the addiction specialist suggested Woods could be in denial about the severity of his situation, especially when it comes to managing both chronic pain and potential dependency on medication.
That's a tough combo.
After years of back and knee surgeries, Woods has dealt with ongoing pain. According to the Celebrity Rehab personality, that creates a dangerous overlap between treatment and addiction.
"The question becomes, why are these doctors continuing to prescribe to this guy?" he said.
Woods' recent DUI arrest followed a rollover crash in Florida. Police said he showed signs of impairment, though he tested negative for alcohol and admitted to taking prescription medication earlier in the day.
It's not the first time.
There was the 2009 crash. The 2017 incident where he was found asleep behind the wheel. The serious 2021 accident. The pattern is there.
Still, Dr. Drew isn't calling for punishment just yet.
He believes Woods may not have received the proper care needed to deal with both pain and addiction, placing some of the responsibility on the system around him.
"If he gets proper care and fails, then that's enough," he said.
In other words, the focus isn't just accountability. It's whether Woods finally gets the help that sticks.
