Grace Charis is hitting back at critics the best way she knows how — by hitting golf balls. The 22-year-old social media sensation, known for her eye-catching outfits and growing presence on the golf course, has a message for her detractors: she's here to stay, and she's serious about her game.

"I see the hate comments, people block me, and it makes me really sad," Charis admitted in a recent interview. "It upsets me more when they're talking about my golf. 'She's just a pretty body, nobody cares.' You can't really hate someone who's trying to get better. So I take all my rage out on the range."
Charis picked up golf during the pandemic as a casual hobby, but in the past 18 months, she's ramped up her commitment. Practicing four to five times a week, working with a coach, and dialing in her game, she's now boasting a single-digit handicap — a number that has silenced some critics, but not all.

Known for her unconventional attire, Charis doesn't shy away from blending the traditions of golf with her own modern, influencer-driven style.
"I'm trying to get better and better because a lot of people just see me as some online chick trying to make money and sell things," she said. "I'm not seen as a golfer, but I'm working my way into that by being good — hitting good shots and posting videos."
As for the backlash about her outfits, Charis is unbothered.

"It's a free world. In Europe, people go naked to beaches all the time, so I don't really see the difference," she said.
For now, Charis has her eyes on more than just viral videos. "I'd love to compete in tournaments eventually," she said. "My game is nearly at a point where I feel confident enough to enter some local tournaments. It would be cool to get that experience."
Love her or hate her, Charis is proving she's not just a flash in the pan — or a flash on Instagram.
