Grace Charis' So-Called Wardrobe Malfunction At British Open Remains Mystery

The wardrobe malfunction experienced by golf influencer and social media starlet Grace Charis at the British Open over the weekend has some fans wondering if she wasn't the victim of a "daring heist," as written by the Daily Star.

Charis, who recently made headlines with her "Free Scottie" T-shirt (an ode to superstar Scottie Scheffler), attended and documented her time at Royal Troon in Scotland.

And part of that stay came with, ya know, lots of pics for her many fans. What else is new, right?

"But along with that insight into the life of a globe-trotting golf gal, she also treated fans to a pic of her bare feet and one of her in a reflective pose," the Daily Star wrote.

"It's the latter that caught the attention of her fanbase, as it showed Charis with her blue zip-up top undone to expose her bare midriff and a skimpy crop top, which appears to be missing the laces intended to hold it all together. The resulting eyeful with which she treated her followers did however cause some concern."

That said, this likely wasn't a wardrobe malfunction. Charis is an influencer, after all. And you gain followers by posing ... well, as Charis did.

As Marca.com wrote:

"At age 21, Grace is no novice in creating content that blurs the lines between the sport of golf and the realms of fashion and sensuality. Her repertoire includes an array of saucy content, from going braless on the greens to donning a low-cut red top while playing golf in Hawaii. Each post showcases her flair for integrating golf with bold fashion statements, thus attracting a broad spectrum of attention to the sport."

Yeah. Something like that.
