Golf influencer Paige Spiranac is not immune to criticism. She learned that again after sharing "slow-mo" videos of herself doing something as simple as hitting golf balls.
The idea, she said, was to help women with larger breasts get their swings in order. Sounds reasonable enough.
But not to one person who commented on her post.
"Such a beautiful lady, it's too bad she feels the only way to be validated is to be half naked on the internet," the X user wrote.
There may be some truth to that, whether Spiranac likes it or not. That said, this is America, and you have the right to earn a living in any fashion you'd like, provided you're not hurting anyone. And it could be argued that Spiranac is actually helping her fellow Americans. She's offering tips to golfers, and giving her fans something to ... well, you know, look at.
Anyway, Spiranac fired back at the fan.
"Playing golf with boobs is hard and since golf is male-dominated most male instructors feel uncomfortable speaking on this topic," Spiranac answered, via The Spun. "The post speaking about how to swing with a large chest was to help women out. Also yes I have boobs. And I like them. Sue me."
Interestingly, it seems that tweet has since been deleted.

Either way, Spiranac's initial instructional post explained the reason for her "chest" focus.
"I've been doing these slow mo videos and in all seriousness it's wild seeing what my chest has to do through the swing so my arms can clear lol I can totally understand why women with larger chests who pick up the game feel stuck and uncomfortable," she wrote.
So, there you have it. Two big reasons to believe Spiranac is being honest about her intent.
