Kim Kardashian, who recently confirmed her relationship with F1 star Lewis Hamilton, posted a reel on Instagram. Ferrell stood in front of the camera, sporting a golf polo, a visor, and facial hair skirting the line between a goatee and a soul patch.

Yet, the actor did not portray himself. The text on the visor said, "Hawk," which happens to be Ferrell's newest character.

"I've never taken a selfie before," the actor said while remaining in character. "I don't know what I'm doing here."

Kardashian then proceeded to give several tips for taking the correct filter. This included putting the chin down and finding the best angle. When Ferrell couldn't quite figure it out, she just added a filter that smoothed out all of the wrinkles.

Hawk is the title character of an upcoming comedy series on NetflixThe Hawk. Ferrell stars as Lonnie "Hawk" Hawkins, a golfer who ranked No. 1 way back in 2004.

Two decades later, Hawk is at a crossroads. He is not the same golfer he once was, and he probably should call it a career. However, he needs one more majors win to complete golf's grand slam. So, he attempts a comeback on the PGA Tour.

This comedy series also features Saturday Night Live alum Molly Shannon as Hawk's ex-wife, Stacy. Jimmy Tatro plays Hawk's son, Lance, while David Hornsby plays Stacy's new man, Radford.

The rest of the cast includes Fortune Feimster, Luke Wilson, Chris Parnell, Katelyn Tarver, Gabriel Hogan, and Aida Osman. The PGA Tour is an official partner of the series, Ferrell's first scripted comedic television series.

The Hawk will officially debut this summer. It will land on Netflix on July 16, 2026.
