Rookie kicker, picked in the 2nd round, has been an utter disaster

Roberto Aguayo's preseason struggles continue for Tampa Bay.

The misses keep coming for Tampa Bay kicker Roberto Aguayo.

The 22 year old, who the Buccaneers traded up to draft in the second round last spring, missed two field goals in a game against Jacksonville last Saturday, making that three missed kicks this preseason.

Aguayo said the misses shouldn't have happened.

"You just have to fix it and keep moving on," Aguayo said. "I feel like that's what preseason games were made for, to get the young guys rolling in, to keep working, keep getting better."

The first field goal miss was from 32 yards out, and the second was from 49.

Aguayo didn't miss a kick inside the 40-yard line in college at Florida State. He did make three extra points and two other field goals in the 27-21 win over the Jaguars.
