A foul bunt took an unfortunate bounce below the belt, and this umpire had to leave the game

Saturday’s plate umpire, David Rackley, left the Los Angeles Dodgers-San Diego Padres contest after a foul bunt hit him between the legs.

According to the AP, Rackley immediately collapsed and laid on the ground for nearly five minutes before he had to be helped up and left the field of play.

Another umpire moved from second base to behind the plate following a 15-minute delay.
