Anthony Volpe’s girlfriend turns heads during Yankees’ comeback win over Blue Jays

Anthony Volpe wasn't the only one in the spotlight during Tuesday night's must-win ALDS Game 3. The Yankees' dramatic 9-6 comeback victory over the Blue Jays had Volpe's girlfriend, Elle Jowett, visibly locked in and drawing plenty of attention of her own from fans and media alike.

Jowett, who has slowly become more public with her relationship as the season has rolled deeper into October, was seen in the stands clutching her knees and intently watching as the Yankees tried to keep their season alive.

Dressed in a cozy navy blue sweater decorated with MLB and Yankees patches, she looked every bit the part of a postseason fixture, and social media lit up with reactions to her anxious body language during the late innings.

Down 2-0 in the best-of-five series, Aaron Judge flipped the script with a massive three-run homer in the fourth inning, resuscitating the Yankees' hopes and setting the tone for the comeback.

"It was best-player-in-the-game type performance," manager Aaron Boone said. "It was special when, obviously, needless to say, we're backs against the wall and then some in a Game 3 situation." Volpe struck out three times but did record a single, and Jowett's courtside-level focus only added to the theater of the night.

Jowett has been a familiar face throughout the postseason. After the Yankees punched their ticket to the ALDS with a win over the Red Sox in the Wild Card round, she shared an Instagram post in a navy-and-white varsity jacket and low-rise jeans with the caption "Wooooohooo."

Her game-day outfits have become a minor subplot, whether it's a crisp white long-sleeve and matching YSL bag or her latest Yankees-themed sweater.

Volpe, now in his third major league season, has experienced his share of ups and downs, but his off-field support is clearly steady. With Game 4 set for Wednesday night, the Yankees will look to even the series — and if Tuesday is any indication, plenty of eyes will once again be on both the action and the stands.
