Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was spotted at Game 1 of the ALCS series between the New York Yankees and Cleveland Guardians on Monday night.

That is to say, most people probably assumed he was at the game rooting for his hometown team, as he grew up in Cleveland Heights. However, during the bottom of the third inning, Yankees star Juan Soto hit a 387-foot home run, and as the camera panned over to Kelce and his girlfriend Taylor Swift, they were both seen smiling.

Not only is Travis Kelce not wearing a shred of Guardians gear, he’s also smiling after Juan Soto homers?

Cleveland fans were rightfully upset over the fact that Kelce appears he may be influenced by his pop star lover, so much so that he lost sight of his northeast Ohio roots.
While it may not seem like a big deal to others, it's certainly not a good look for the nine-time NFL Pro-Bowler, who claims to be a fan and representative of the city.
Ultimately, the Guardians lost 5-2, as the Yankees were led by a pair of home runs off the bats of Soto and Giancarlo Stanton.

To note, starting pitcher Carlos Rodon pitched six innings and struck out nine batters in the win.

And things may not get much easier for the Guardians as they will face Gerrit Cole in Game 2, which will be played Tuesday (7:38 pm ET) in Yankee Stadium.
With this in mind, the NFL star's attendance for future games may not be possible as he and the Chiefs are currently preparing for a Super Bowl rematch vs. the San Francisco 49ers, which will take place on Sunday, October 22 (4:25 pm ET) at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California.
