Dodgers Pitcher Walker Buehler Had His $100k Watch Stolen While In Attendance At A Horse Race Near LA

While at a race track in Arcadia, California, Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Walker Buehler had his $100,000 watch stolen, in what was a "snatch and grab" robbery that took place back on September 27.

In view of how the situation unfolded, according to ABC7, apparently the watch was taken off of his wrist, as a mob of people surrounded the MLB pitcher and his wife, while they were in attendance at the Santa Anita Park.

"The incident was reported to police and is currently under investigation," Buehler's legal representatives said in a statement. "We are grateful Walker and McKenzie were not harmed and Walker is focused on the playoffs."

To point out, this was not the only theft occurrence that went down this day at the track, as there were three separate incidences that were reported by police, per TMZ.

Notably, Buehler is from Lexington, Kentucky, so he grew up around horse racing, as he even has part ownership in a racehorse called Authentic, who won the 2020 Kentucky Derby.

All in all, Buehler hopes to improve on his regular-season pitching performance, as the seventh-year pitcher had 1-6 record, while posting a 5.38 ERA and 1.55 WHIP.

With the NLDS series tied at 1-1, Buehler is set to start in Game 3 as the Dodgers are playing in San Diego vs. the Padres Tuesday, October 8.
