Considering that these two teams have the biggest markets in baseball, the prices for a ticket have reached astronomical numbers.
To point out, just to get into either Yankee stadium or Dodger stadium will cost you around $1k, then if you want a seat right behind home plate or the dugout, prices can reach as high as $25,000.

Some fans compared previous years' prices, as one noted, "It literally cost $3.30 to go to game 7 of the World Series in 1924. A 30000% increase is absolutely nasty work. It's pathetic as a society we've allowed this to happen."
When my uncle got me tickets to Game 7 of the 2003 World Series (which didn’t happen bc Josh Beckett threw a complete game shutout) the tickets were only $181, for the 200 level

That is to say, many have pointed out that the inflation in this economy has made ticket prices soar. To emphasize, Yankees fans even noticed that it will cost $1,000 just for standing room.
For those lucky (rich) fans that are able to attend, they will be able to witness the 12th time these two teams have matched up, with their first meeting being in 1941 when the Dodgers were still in Brooklyn.
Although the Yankees have won eight of the last 11 matchups, LA took home a World Series win the last time they played each other in 1981.
All in all, the Dodgers led by Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts, Freddie Freeman, will go up against Yankee sluggers Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Giancarlo Stanton in a best-of-7 series that will start on Friday, October 25 at 8:08 pm ET in Los Angeles.
