Fans Troll Drake After Blue Jays Promote Kendrick Lamar Concert In Toronto

The beef between Toronto-based rapper Drake and Kendrick Lamar has been boiling over this past year.

And now an MLB team may have added fuel to the fire, as the Toronto Blue Jays have announced that Kendrick and SZA will be performing on June 12 at the Rogers Centre, with this being a part of an upcoming national tour.

In view of this hip-hop rivalry, many fans have reacted.

Notably, this beef also carried over into the NBA, as former Toronto Raptors Player DeMar DeRozan caught flack from Drake as he appeared in Kendrick Lamar's music video of his top smash-hit record, "Not Like Us."

Sacramento Kings guard/forward DeRozan, who played 10 seasons in Toronto, responded to these comments made by Drake.

To point out, Kendrick has been known to tease Drake with talking about his hometown, as he even made a random Toronto Chinatown restaurant 'New Ho King' famous over night, just by specifically mentioning them in his song.

Other stops on the late-spring tour all include venues hosted by NFL or other MLB teams, but the one with the most anticipation is undoubtedly the Blue Jays home field.

Important to remember, Drake actually attended Kendrick Lamar's concert two years ago when he performed in Toronto.

However, certainly things have changed since then.
