Dallas Keuchel isn't ready to call it a career just yet. According to ESPN's Jeff Passan, the former American League Cy Young Award winner has agreed to a minor league contract with the Athletics as he attempts to work his way back to the majors.

Keuchel, 38, is expected to report to Triple-A Las Vegas.
The veteran left-hander hasn't appeared in a big league game since pitching for the Milwaukee Brewers in 2024, when he made four starts. He spent part of last season with Triple-A Omaha in the Royals organization before being released in August.
Now, he'll get another opportunity.
Keuchel enjoyed one of baseball's best stretches during his time with the Houston Astros.
He won the 2015 AL Cy Young Award after going 20-8 with a 2.48 ERA, helping lead Houston back to the postseason for the first time in a decade. He was also a two-time All-Star and played a key role on the Astros teams that helped transform the franchise into a perennial contender.
Since then, Keuchel has made stops with the Braves, White Sox, Diamondbacks, Twins, Brewers and Royals organization while trying to extend his career.
The Athletics, meanwhile, could use the help.
Oakland has struggled to find consistency on the mound this season, making Keuchel an intriguing veteran depth option if he proves he still has something left.
For now, though, the comeback begins in Triple-A, with another shot at returning to the majors still very much alive.
