The collision happened in the eighth inning of Tuesday's game against the Cleveland Indians. While Altuve, the second baseman, was clearly hurt, Hernandez, the right fielder, seemed to take the brunt of the damage.
After the game, Houston manager A.J. Hinch said Hernandez suffered a knee injury.
