Jose Altuve, you had one job.
Well, he had more than one job obviously, but when you're on your way to accomplishing an amazing feat like a cycle, you can't afford to slip up. Literally.
Altuve had already connected on a single, double and a home run in the Astros win Saturday against the Royals. All he needed was a triple to complete the cycle, which came in his fourth at-bat. A long shot in the gap to left-center field allowed Altuve to put on the jets as he looked to cap off his great offensive day. Unfortunately as he rounded second base, he got tripped up, and by his own two feet no less.

You could see the disappointment on his face as he was just 90 feet from achieving what no Astros player has done in three years. His teammates didn't seem to mind the slip up though, at least at his expense.
