Upton joined Verlander on the red carpet in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as he made his final appearance at the MLB All-Star Game. Daughter Genevieve, 7, and son Bellamy, 1, both joined while making this a family outing.

They all dressed to the nines while celebrating a milestone moment in Verlander's life. Back on July 8, Verlander, 43, announced that he would retire from professional baseball after the end of the 2026 season.

He would close out a 21-year career in which he won two World Series, one MVP award, and three Cy Young awards.

"Baseball has given me more than I could have imagined," Verlander wrote in his retirement statement in part. "It taught me discipline, resilience, and the value of continuing to adapt and evolve. I've been fortunate to play with and against incredible players, for outstanding organizations, and compete in-front of fans who deeply appreciate the game.

"To every teammate, coach, player, clubhouse attendant, and fan who has been part of this journey - thank you. It's been a privilege to share the field with you. To my family, especially my wife Kate, thank you for standing beside me through every season, every rehab, and every high and low. I couldn't have done this without you."

Upton, who married Verlander in Italy in 2017, has largely stepped back from the spotlight since giving birth to Genevieve. She last acted in 2024's Sweet Dreams, a Johnny Knoxville-led baseball film.

She also hosted a Hulu competition show called Dress My Tour, in which designers crafted stage outfits for music stars.

Her social media presence has scaled back a bit with her last X post coming in 2022 and her last "normal" post on Instagram coming in 2024. Although she and Verlander took part in a feature for Architectural Digest in March in which they showed off their home in New York City.
