The Los Angeles Dodgers are coming off of celebrating their World Series victory, and now Yoshinobu Yamamoto may have found himself a new girlfriend.

That is to say, the Japanese-born pitcher was spotted in Beverly Hills with a well-known model by the name of Niki Niwa.
For those who don't know, Niwa is a model, who has made appearances on the famous Japanese reality TV show called Terrace House.
And earlier this week the potential couple were seen shopping around Beverley Hills, maybe spending some of Yamamoto's 12-year/$325 million contract.
Shohei Ohtani and Yoshinobu Yamamoto teamed up with the Dodgers in Los Angeles.
Ohtani signed a 10-year, $700 million deal.

Yamamoto was a key contributor for the Dodgers in winning a championship. In his Game 2 win, he threw 6.1 innings, surrendering only one hit (solo home run from Juan Soto).

On the season, the 26-year-old rookie pitcher was 7-2 with a 3.00 ERA and 1.11 WHIP. Notably, he was able to comeback from injury just in time to pitch in the postseason.
Overall in his first MLB postseason, Yamamoto went 2-0 in four starts, and had a 3.86 ERA and 0.96 WHIP.
He went on to win the 2024 MLB World Series just after claiming the 2023 World Baseball Classic while representing his home country Japan.

The buzz surrounding Japanese stars Shohei Ohtani and Yamamoto led to record-breaking viewership in Japan.
To note, Game 2 of the World Series was the most-watched postseason game in the country's history, as 15.9 million people tuned into watch Yamamoto.

With this in mind, Yamamoto's new girlfriend Niwa is also used to having all eyes on her, as she was a model who appeared on the 2016 season of the Netflix reality series Terrace House (Aloha State).
