MLB Manager Steals Deion Sanders' Look, Draws Criticism From Fans

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts went full Coach Prime by stealing Deion Sanders' signature look ahead of the Colorado-USC game.

Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts showed up to his team's 14-5 loss against the Colorado Rockies in Colorado dressed as Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders.

Interestingly enough, Roberts, who coaches a California-based baseball team, dressed up as a Colorado-based coach in Colorado as the Buffaloes prepare to take on the USC Trojans, also a California-based team.

That's not going over well, with some fans responding to this.

Another fan pointed out that Roberts attended UCLA, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in history in 1995. So, given those schools rivalry, it makes more sense.

As mentioned, the Dodgers dropped their Thursday matchup, splitting the four-game series with the Rockies. Now, the 98-win Dodgers head back out on the road for a final three-game series against the San Francisco Giants. The Dodgers are also 14 games ahead in the NL West race and have clinched a playoff spot and the division title.

As for the Buffaloes, the team Roberts was representing, they're 3-1 this season, coming off a 42-6 loss against the Oregon Ducks. Hosting USC this week, they'll have to deal with a Trojans offense led by Heisman candidate and projected No. 1 overall 2024 NFL Draft pick, quarterback Caleb Williams.

We'll see if the Buffaloes can enjoy a similar fate as the Dodgers have this season when they take on the Trojans at home at Folsom Field at noon ET on September 30.
