Long-time Orioles announcer Gary Thorne made what can only be called an honest mistake in last night's Orioles-Angels game. Pujols hit a ground ball to end the first inning and Thorne misspoke calling him 'retarded' when he meant to say retired.

Unfortunate as it may be, Thorne owned up to his blunder, commenting, "no errors, except for that one."
