The young Phillies fan who was forced to give up his home run ball to an angry woman in Miami has broken his silence, saying the whole ordeal left him feeling helpless.

Lincoln Feltwell, who turns 10 this week, told NBC10 Philadelphia that he was crushed after being pressured into handing over the prized souvenir at Friday's game against the Marlins.
"Um, I wasn't very happy that we had to give it to her, but we can't win," Lincoln said. "She was gonna get it anyways."
The drama started when Lincoln's father, Drew Feltwell, came up with the ball after Phillies outfielder Harrison Bader launched a home run into the left-field seats. Drew made his way back to his family, putting the ball in his son's glove, but that moment didn't last long.
Seconds later, a gray-haired Phillies fan stormed down and grabbed Drew's shoulder.
"I didn't even see her walk up and as she reached for my arm, she just yelled in my ear, 'That's my ball!' like super loud," Drew said. "I jumped out of my skin and I was like, you know, like 'Why are you here?' you know, 'Go away.' And she's like, 'That's my ball! You stole out of - those are from our seats.' And I said, 'There was nobody in that seat.' She said, 'That's from where we were sitting,' and she just went on and on."
Feltwell admitted he gave in to avoid escalating things further.

"I pretty much just wanted her to go away because I had a fork in the road: either do something I was probably going to regret or be dad and show him how to deescalate the situation," he said. "We were there to get a home run ball. I thought I had accomplished this great thing and putting it in his glove meant a lot and she was just so adamant and loud and yelling and persistent and I just didn't want to deal with it anymore."
Fans booed the woman as she stomped back to her seat clutching the ball, even flipping off the crowd on her way out.
Lincoln's story, though, had a happier ending. The Marlins gifted him a bag of memorabilia and Phillies outfielder Harrison Bader presented him with an autographed bat after the game.
The unidentified woman, meanwhile, has been roasted online and held up as the latest example of how ugly fan behavior can go viral in a heartbeat.
