Police Investigating Yankees Fan Who Knocked Out A Guy Outside Of Phillies Stadium

The New York Yankees won 7-6 in extra innings vs. their interdivisional opponent Philadelphia Phillies Tuesday night, however after the game was finished there was more action to be had.

The police are now investigating an incident that was caught on video, of a Yankees fan slapping another man outside of Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.

Even though his team won, the fan wearing the #99 Aaron Judge Pinstripes jersey got really angry with another guy who was wearing a black shirt.

The clip doesn't show how it all started, but it ended with the apparent Phillies fan on the ground seemingly unconscious, while the dude who slapped him was walking around like a big tough guy.

The Philadelphia Police Department issued a statement regarding the matter.

"We are asking the victim and anyone who may have knowledge of the incident to come forward," the PPD told TMZ.

To point out, after winning in 12 innings last night, the Yankees also won again Wednesday afternoon 6-5, thanks to a 6-RBI game by third baseman DJ Lemahieu.

Despite the series sweep, the Phillies (65-43) still have the best record in the National League, while the Yankees (65-45) are 0.5 games back out of first place in the AL East division.

Hopefully for now on, the Yankees fans can keep their hands to themselves, as there was also a brawl just last week between them and their cross-town rival Mets fans.
