During Game 4 of the World Series, a wild sequence of events unfolded when a couple of Yankees fans tried their best to steal a ball from the glove of Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts.

After a pop-up foul ball was hit along the first baseline, the two New York supporters in the front row attempted to take the ball, while grabbing at the glove and arm of the opposing player.
And now that this fan interference moment has went viral, the two men have been identified as Austin Capobianco (left) and John Peter (right).
After seeing this go down on TV, former NFL player Rob Gronkowski says that he was college buddies with Capobianco, who is a Yankees season ticket holder.

"Here's a fun fact, that guy right there grabbing Mookie Betts' glove, was my friend in college," Gronkowski said on The Up & Adams Show. "He was on the ice hockey team, the club Arizona Wildcats team. And let me tell you, the whole hockey team, they were absolute maniacs."
The 4x Super Bowl winning tight end continued, "Him doing that represents him very well. He is all in for his teams, he is all in for the Yankees. I remember him talking about the Yankees all the time, how he loves them so much. And that describes him perfectly, just doing whatever it takes to help his team out."
"I just want to say congratulations, for shining when your moment came."
That is to say, in view of Gronkowski's persona, it certainly is believable that he is friends with one of the booted Yankees fan.
Down 3-1 in the series, the Yankees will attempt to win Game 5 at home, without the help of Capobianco and Peter, before heading back to Los Angeles for Games 6+7.
