The seven-time Cy Young Award winner and his son, a second baseman for the Minnesota Twins, recreated the famous father-son catch scene from the 1989 movie following the Field of Dreams Game in Dyersville, Iowa.

They even got the dialogue right.

"Is this Heaven?" Roger asked his son.

"It's Iowa," Kody replied.

"It sure feels like Heaven," Roger said.

Then came the line anyone who has seen the movie knew was coming.

"Wanna have a catch?" Kody asked.

They did.

Roger, 64, wore an old-school Boston Red Sox uniform as the two tossed a baseball back and forth on the diamond, with the cornfield serving as the backdrop.

The moment recreated the emotional final scene of "Field of Dreams," when Kevin Costner's Ray Kinsella asks his late father, John, "Hey, Dad? You wanna have a catch?"

Clemens had teased beforehand that something special was coming.

"We can not get off this property before doing something special," he said during the Netflix broadcast. "We've had this marked on our calendar for a long time, so we're going to make it happen."

Kody, 30, was in uniform for the actual game, starting at second base as Minnesota fell 7-1 to the Philadelphia Phillies.

The night featured plenty of nostalgia, including baseball legends emerging from the cornfield before the game.

But for the Clemens family, this one was personal. A father, a son, a baseball and a game of catch in Iowa. Sometimes Hollywood really does write the script.
