Shohei Ohtani's Dog 'Decoy' Throws Out Impressive First Pitch On Bobblehead Night

On Shohei Ohtani bobblehead night, the Japanese superstar wasn't the only one that put on a show, as his dog 'Decoy' threw out the first pitch and wowed the crowd.

40,000 fans in attendance received their own bobblehead, which featured Ohtani with his dog, while a select few lucky fans also received a gold version.

There was so much anticipation for this night that fans actually camped outside the stadium up to eight hours early.

For all the hype that came with this special night, Ohtani surely did not disappoint. As he hit a lead-off home run in storybook fashion, and went on to steal two bases.

As a result of the Player of the Game's performance, the Dodgers won the game 6-4.

Along with having 42 home runs and 42 stolen bases, Ohtani has a .295 batting average (.999 OPS) and has contributed 95 RBI's, 104 runs.

Considering there is still a month left on the season, the 30-year-old is on pace to potentially become the first player in MLB history to hit 50 home runs and steal 50 bases.

To mention, for the fans who witnessed Ohtani show out on his bobblehead night, they also get to take home the special piece of memorabilia to remember the special night.

And for those who received a gold one, they are worth a fortune in the resell market, fetching lucrative prices on eBay, so they may have a decision to make, if they want to keep it as a memory or sell it for a couple thousand dollars.
