Two games after his promotion, Tim Tebow is already turning heads

Tim Tebow sure knows how to make a statement.

The former football star and budding baseball star hit a home run in just his second game for the Port St. Lucie Mets, the High A affiliate of the major league New York squad. Check it out:

Here's another view:

Tebow took a 92 mile per hour fastball the other way, according to Sports Illustrated.

The Mets promoted the former Florida Gator and NFL quarterback after he hit .220 for the Columbia Fireflies, the Mets low A affiliate.

If there's a sense of deja vu, you're not alone. Remember, Tebow also homered in his first minor league at bat.
