Yankees Make History After First Three Pitches Of Game Yet Fans Outraged Over ‘Illegal Bat’ Conspiracy

Former New York Yankees pitcher Nester Cortes took the mound Saturday afternoon for the Milwaukee Brewers to face his former team. And evidently the 30-year-old lefty pitcher thought it was batting practice, as he surrendered three home runs on the first three pitches in the bottom of the 1st inning.

Paul Goldschmidt, Cody Bellinger, Aaron Judge homered back-to-back-to back, making it the first time in MLB history that a team went yard on the first three pitches of a game.

Needless to say, Cortes' 'welcome back to New York' outing ultimately fell short, as he gave up five home runs and five walks after only facing 17 batters (no pitcher in MLB history had ever given up 5+ HR & 5+ BB in a game without facing at least 35 batters).

To emphasize the Yankees' dominance, they already had seven home runs in the 3rd inning.

While 3x AL HR leader Judge hit his third homer the 4th inning.

All in all, the team accumulated 20 runs (20-9 win).

However, some fans have pointed out that their record-breaking nine total home runs (previous record 8 - 2007; 1939) may be a result of the Bronx Bombers using a newly-shaped bat that features more wood on the "contact point."

Fans are calling for the MLB to inspect the new custom engineered bats, as many believe this might give an unfair advantage to hitters.

One user on X wrote, "No wonder they scored 20 runs in 7 innings. They should be investigated."

Although, at this time it's been reported the Yankees front office and analytics department got approval from the MLB regarding the new-and-improved bats.
