UFC legend Chuck Liddell has accused his ex-wife of abducting their 14-year-old daughter amid an increasingly contentious custody battle.

Liddell filed an emergency custody request in Los Angeles Superior Court seeking full custody of the teenager, according to court documents obtained by the New York Post.
The former UFC light heavyweight champion alleged that his ex-wife, Heidi Northcott, took their daughter Guinevere to Orange County shortly before the beginning of the school year despite an existing court order.
Liddell claimed Northcott persuaded the teenager to leave during a week in which she was supposed to be staying with him and had "no intent to return her."
He also argued that missing the beginning of high school could cause "irreparable harm" to Guinevere, including potentially jeopardizing her spot on the school's volleyball team.
Northcott strongly disputed Liddell's version of events.
She told TMZ that she "never abducted anyone" and claimed the teenager had begged her to take her away from her father. Northcott also alleged that the couple's children don't feel comfortable speaking openly with Liddell.
"For the past 5 years after our divorce, Chuck has been obsessed with staying in my life and trying to control me," Northcott told TMZ.
Liddell and Northcott were married for 14 years before finalizing their divorce in April 2025 following a lengthy legal process. They share two teenage daughters.
The former couple's relationship has previously spilled into public view. Liddell was arrested in 2021 following an incident at the family's California home, though prosecutors later declined to file charges.
Now the dispute has returned to court, this time centered on where their oldest daughter should live and attend school.
