Conor McGregor 'Spastic' Interview Called Into Question

Plenty of talk has been circulating lately that UFC legend Conor McGregor has been ... well, different, in recent weeks. McGregor is in the spotlight for his role alongside actor Jake Gyllenhall in the new Road House movie.

And those following along have been saying for a few weeks that McGregor just isn't right. That doesn't mean those people are correct. It just means they believe they have reason to feel suspicious.

The latest example came in a Sports Illustrated interview, which featured McGregor and Gyllenhall, and McGregor sort of stumbling along as he gave his answer. He seemed out of sorts, not himself, and just basically off. Casual MMA went as far as to write that "McGregor is literally involuntarily spasming from drugs."

That's quite an accusation. But it's also hard not to think that way.

"Jake's a consummate professional, 75 movies made," McGregor said of his co-star while constantly shrugging and fidgeting. "You know ... I'm blessed ... to have entered the movie ... alongside him."

This is the second time in about a week that fans have called McGregor's erratic behavior into question. The first came at the Road House premiere in Autin, Texas, when he walked the red carpet.

There is also a mystery about when, exactly, he will fight again. Those questions have created significantly more rumors about his general well-being.

McGregor, 35, hasn't fought in nearly three years, with his last bought being a loss to Dustin Poirier. He has been defeated twice in a row by Poirier and broke his leg during the last meeting.

The Road House movie is a remake of the 1989 hit that starred the late Patrick Swayze. Gyllenhall is playing the role of the aggressive bouncer who takes care of business when challenged which of course, is often.

The latest version was released on March 8.
