Michael Chiesa (14-3) hadn't lost since 2014, but that all changed in a controversial ref stoppage Sunday night at UFC Fight Night 112 at the hands of Kevin Lee (16-2) and UFC president Dana White was furious:

In the main event of the card, Lee locked in a rear-naked choke as the seconds were dwindling in the first round and appeared to have Chiesa in a bad position. Chiesa stopped trying to fight off Lee and looked to be going out as referee Mario Yamasaki called for the bell.
Was it a legit finish? Kevin Lee with a submission on Michael Chiesa that we'll be talking about for awhile! #UFCOKC https://t.co/mOFBUonnem

Chiesa immediately got up and disputed the call, but the match was over.
He tore into Yamasaki in his post-match interview:
Hear Michael Chiesa's full post-fight Q&A as he demands a rematch with Kevin Lee and has no love for Mario Yamasaki. https://t.co/YCmnbxvH5b

Yamasaki is facing plenty of backlash for not waiting for a tap or for Chiesa to go out.
Chiesa will appeal the decision and called for a rematch with Lee as soon as he can get one.
