Former UFC Star Mike Perry Has Been Arrested For DUI In Florida

MMA star Mike Perry was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, after he was pulled over this weekend in Florida. That is to say, on account of the Clermont police department's report (per TMZ), this occurred around 1 am ET., Saturday morning, when the patrolling cops noticed a dark red Mercedes speeding 20 mph over the limit.

When the traffic stop took place, the officers said there was an odor of alcohol coming from Perry, in addition the fighter had "red, glassy eyes" and was talking slower than normal. Considering this, Perry was questioned, but he ultimately denied drinking before operating his vehicle, and he also refused the sobriety tests.

However, the police report notes that he had trouble keeping his balance upon exiting his SUV. As a result of the visible signs pointing to Perry being intoxicated, the 33-year-old was taken into police custody, and declined another breath test while at the station. Furthermore, he received a second charge for not signing a DUI citation.

All in all, Perry was released on a $1,500 bond, and will appear in court on October 30.

In view of his fighting career, when facing Jake Paul in a boxing match this summer, he got TKO'd in the sixth round.

Notably, throughout Perry's UFC career (2016-2021), he accumulated a 14-8 record. Then as a current fighter in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, he has a 5-0 record and won a championship.
