Jorge Masvidal hasn't fought in the UFC since 2023. That doesn't mean he's done.

"Gamebred" made it clear he's open to a return, and he already has two names in mind. At the top of the list is Conor McGregor.
"I always keep that door open. I'm always training," Masvidal said, via TMZ. "I wouldn't mind beating the living s— out of that little Irish dude that sells whiskey."
No mystery who he's talking about.
Masvidal didn't stop there. He also called out Leon Edwards, a rivalry that's been simmering for years after their backstage altercation in 2019. That's the one Masvidal famously labeled a "three-piece and a soda."
He says both fights still make sense, and he believes either one would headline a massive card.
Masvidal also took a shot at McGregor's willingness to step in the cage.
"I know Conor ain't taking that fight," he said. "I'm better than him on the feet. I'm bigger. I'm meaner."
Still, he insists the door is open if the UFC brings the right offer. He says the promotion knows he's interested and ready if the matchup delivers.
Masvidal may be on the sidelines right now. He's not short on confidence, and he's definitely not short on targets.
His message to McGregor was simple: Step up or stay out of the way.
