Tamyris Teixeira Santos, a Brazilian social media personality known for sharing martial arts and lifestyle content, was found dead on a beach in Rio de Janeiro three days after she was reported missing. She was 36.

Santos's body was discovered on Botafogo Beach and identified by relatives on April 22, according to Brazilian news outlet g1. She had been missing since April 18, when she was last seen at Leblon Beach.
According to the report, Santos was with friends before entering the water for a swim at about 5 p.m. She did not return. Family members learned of her disappearance the following day after beach staff reported that her belongings remained unclaimed.
Local fire officials told g1 that sea conditions were considered normal at the time and that no rescue calls were received that day.
In a statement to the outlet, Santos's mother questioned the circumstances surrounding her daughter's death, noting the beach was crowded at the time of the incident.
Santos had more than 18,000 followers on Instagram, where she posted videos related to fitness and martial arts, including Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Muay Thai, along with glimpses of her daily life.
Her final post, shared April 13, featured a selfie captioned with a heart emoji. Friends and followers later filled the comments with messages of condolence.
Authorities have not publicly released further details as the investigation continues.
